Here in my Puggy Pug World all puppies are raised in my home, loved just as if I were keeping each and every one. They are sold at eight weeks at the earliest. Not all pups are ready for homes at the same time. This is determined by the pups development. All pups are current on shots and are wormed. They are all litter box trained for easier potty training. Go to the 'Current Litter' page to see pictures of the puppies available now! |
The price for puppies is detirmined by many factors. A couple of these factors are, the amount of pure dedication and time it takes to whelp and raise just one litter of puppies. You may be surprized that it takes a great deal of time to raise happy healthy Pugs. Young puppies and mothers need constant care. They must be under great supervision to assure they are warm, nursing and elemintating properly. Not to mention all the clean up. Another factor is the amount of money it takes to buy, raise, and whelp top quallity Pugs.I only buy Pugs to add to the breeding program that are great in confirmation and temperment. I only feed the highest quality food with no by products and no corn fillers. I do not give out breeding rights. I personally believe that a puppy is an investment for the future. The more you give them the more they give back! My goal is to place each puppy in a loving and responsible home to grow and achieve their greatest potiential! |
Litter box training...
All of the puppies and females in my Puggy Pug World are litter box trained. I start this at 4 weeks, or the day puppies start trying to eat wet food. Our litter boxes are filled with wood pellets, mine are marketed as horse bedding. Pugs can be picky about cold and or wet grass, and here in the North West we have a lot of those days. I find that litter boxes provide an OK place to go in the house. Keeping these litter boxes clean is essential. Pups can contract disease from dirty litter boxes, and so can humans. As long as they are kept clean it is a safe and easy way to potty train. If you would prefer your Pug to go outside, this is easily occomplished starting with a litter trained puppy. Putting the box by the door you wish the puppy to use to go out and potty. Putting a bit of the litter outside is the next step. With persistant praise and supervision you will have a potty trained Pug in no time!! I am always here for all questions and help in potty training your puppy! |
